THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK

The social media deals with communication among people in which they talk, share, post, tweet, comment,  and exchange information in virtual world. Most of us use different social networking like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, WeChat, Yahoo, Skype, Viber, and many more. Being online in social media is one of our habits in communicating other people instead of face to face conversation.

Here are the risks and tips to save you from socializing in media:

SHARING

Don't share too much information! There might be people enter your house and do harm on you. Do not post/share your complete address, cellphone/land line number, complete name, and complete birthday.

NEGATIVE COMMENTS

Don't post bad/negative comments towards people. Do put bad words and foul language in your status and comments. You may hurt someone's feeling and people nowadays are sensitive. You can also bring bad image towards your school or the company you work. Shut it and zip it!

FRIEND REQUESTS

Do not add all friend request in social medias! Only accept to those you really know and you meet. Don't accept friend request even he/she has a lot of mutual friends because she/he might grab your pictures and other information about you. He/She might stalk you and makes fun of you. Be careful in choosing friends!

OBSCENE PICTURES AND VIDEOS

Do not post pictures and videos that are unsuitable for everyone to see like girls wearing swimsuits and shorts and for boys wearing shorts only. People might edit your picture and make fun of you. It's best to be conservative than to show off.

BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR WORDS. ONCE THEY SAID, THEY CAN BE ONLY FORGIVEN, NOT FORGOTTEN.
